LOS ANGELES – Here's what you'll be rocking out to in Rock Band 2.
At Microsoft's press conference Monday morning, Harmonix President and CEO Alex Rigopulos made several surprising announcements regarding the company's next music game. Rock Band 2 will include a track – 'Shackler's Revenge' – from Guns N' Roses' upcoming been-in-production-forever album Chinese Democracy, and AC/DC and Bob Dylan will make their rhythm game debuts in the game.

Oh, and he announced the complete track list.
The game's soundtrack will include more than 80 songs on the disc, with 20 more available as free downloads later in the fall. Also, all tracks will be master recordings, so no more lame covers to hinder your quest for the ultimate rock experience.
More good news: Every downloadable track from the original Rock Band will be playable in *Rock Band 2. *
By default, we install the ruby files in your ProgramData folder. C: ProgramData SketchUp SketchUp 2017 SketchUp Plugins Note: On your machine, the 'ProgramData' folder may be spelled differently, for your version of Windows. Irender nxt for sketchup 2017.
What's more, you'll be able to export 'almost all' of the tracks on your *Rock Band *disc, saving them to your console's hard drive so they can be played in Rock Band 2 without swapping discs.
(Here's the fine print on the above feature, courtesy Harmonix: 'Online connection required. Nominal fee required for export of Rock Band 1 soundtrack to compensate music licensors for expanded use. Fee still to-be-determined but will be under $5. The list of exportable *Rock Band 1 *tracks has not yet been finalized as music licenses are currently in the process of being re-acquired.')

Rock Band 2 is a 2008 music video game developed by Harmonix and distributed by MTV Games and Electronic Arts. The game, a sequel to Rock Band, has been released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PlayStation 2.[1]Rock Band allows one to four players to simulate the playing of rock music by providing the players with peripherals modeled after musical instruments (a guitar peripheral for lead guitar and bass gameplay, a drum peripheral, and a microphone). The gameplay in Rock Band 2 is nearly identical to the original Rock Band, while also comparable to that in Guitar Hero.
The game disc features 84 songs, all of which are master recordings.[2] In addition, the game supports existing downloadable content from Rock Band, as well as tracks which have been exported from other Rock Band game discs.[3] Twenty additional tracks were released exclusively for Rock Band 2 as free downloadable content after the game was released. A redeemable code that allows the player access to these songs is included with new copies of the game,[3] except for the Wii version, where no code is required.
With Rock Band 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii players could export 70 of 84 songs by purchasing an Export Key for US$9.99. The 9 songs from bands fronted by Harmonix staff members are not offered in the initial export package; however, these songs are offered at no cost in the 'Rock Band Free 01' pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, released on January 4, 2011.[4] The export for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions requires the code located on the back of the Rock Band 2 instruction manual; this is the same code used for the redemption of the aforementioned bonus content. The process for export differs slightly on both platforms: Xbox 360 users only need to redeem the manual code directly within Rock Band 3 while PlayStation 3 users must redeem the manual code on the Rock Band website and then use the code given from the website within Rock Band 3. EA support will accommodate users who may have lost or discarded their previous code. Wii users only need to have a Rock Band 2 save file present and pay the export fee to perform the export function; however, tracks are downloaded individually, allowing the user to delete unwanted songs.[5][6] As of 2017, the ability to export Rock Band 2 to later Rock Band titles had expired; however, users who have previously exported Rock Band 2 are eligible to receive the songs in Rock Band 4.[7]
Five songs were not exportable to Rock Band 3: 'Let There Be Rock' by AC/DC, 'Any Way You Want It' by Journey, 'Battery' by Metallica, 'Give It Away' by Red Hot Chili Peppers and 'Spoonman' by Soundgarden. 'Give It Away' and 'Spoonman' were included as part of the Rock Band Blitz soundtrack, of which can be exported to Rock Band 3.[8] The two songs were also later released as downloadable singles for Rock Band 3, and both are available with pro guitar and bass upgrades.
Track listing[edit]
Each of the 84 songs is categorized on-disc by difficulty (0 dots being the easiest and 5 red dots being the most difficult) for each instrument, as well as the entire band. Players can also choose from one of four skill levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert). Unlike previous installments in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series, the nine 'bonus' songs are integrated with the other 75 songs in the game's track listing. These additional songs consist mostly of bands formed by Harmonix employees, as well as lesser-known bands and local bands from near Harmonix's headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts or from Boston.[citation needed]

Lego Rock Band is a 2009 music video game developed by Harmonix and Traveller's Tales, and published by MTV Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game, the fourth major console release in the Rock Band series, was released in November 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS. Lego Rock Band allows one to four players to simulate the playing of rock music by providing the players with peripherals modeled after musical instruments. These include a guitar peripheral for lead guitar and bass gameplay, a drum kit peripheral, and a microphone.
Lego Rock Band's soundtrack has been selected to be 'suitable for younger audiences'.[1] All songs available in Lego Rock Band are compatible with previous entries in the Rock Band series and until 2014, could be exported to these games for $9.99 along with the use of a unique code included on a paper insert included in the game case.[2][3][4]
Announcement[edit]
When Lego Rock Band was officially announced on 21 April 2009, only five songs were confirmed to be included: 'Song 2' by Blur, 'Kung Fu Fighting' by Carl Douglas, 'The Final Countdown' by Europe, 'Girls & Boys' by Good Charlotte, and 'So What' by Pink.[1]Wired published leaked information from 'a highly-placed source close to Harmonix' on 31 August, which included the names of thirteen songs which would be included in Lego Rock Band.[5] Additional songs were officially announced closer to the game's release date, including 'The Passenger' by Iggy Pop and 'Let's Dance' by David Bowie.[6] The full setlist was revealed on 12 October.[7]

Downloadable songs[edit]
Lego Rock Band also supports existingdownloadable content from the Rock Band series, as well as songs exported from other Rock Band titles that has been 'identified to be suitable for all ages', except in the Wii version; however, songs released after Rock Band 3 are not compatible with Lego Rock Band.[8][9] The Lego Rock Band Music Store only includes Rock Band songs which have been cleared for use in the game. Also, any exported content from the original Rock Band and its Track Packs deemed 'Family Friendly' can be used in the game. Users do not need to be signed in to use content that was downloaded on another account, as long as it is on the same console system, thus allowing a child's account to access the filtered set of music from a parent's account library.[10]
Reception[edit]
Eurogamer reviewer Keza MacDonald called Lego Rock Band's setlist 'an unusual selection .. but undeniably varied.', but was disappointed by the small number of songs.[11]Game Informer's Bryan Vore referred to the setlist as being 'weak', with 'several throwaway tracks you’ll forget the instant they’re over.'[12] Jack DeVries, a reviewer for IGN, felt that the game has a varied setlist, but not enough songs compared to Rock Band 2 and Band Hero.[13]

Rock Band is a 2007 music video game developed by Harmonix and distributed by MTV Games and Electronic Arts. The game is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Wiigame consoles. Rock Band is based on Harmonix' previous success with the Guitar Hero series of video games in which players used a guitar-shaped controller to simulate playing rock music. Rock Band expands on the concept by adding a drum and microphone peripheral, allowing up to four players to participate in the game, playing lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. The gameplay in Rock Band is comparable to that in Guitar Hero along with elements from Harmonix' Karaoke Revolution.
Rock Band for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 and 3 shipped with 58 songs on disk, while the Wii version, released at a later date, contained 5 additional songs that were released as downloadable content for the game. The European version of the game also includes 9 additional songs that have since been released as downloadable content for other regions. The player can expand their music library on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions by purchasing new songs offered on a weekly basis through the consoles' respective store systems. A full list of downloadable songs is available. For the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions of Rock Band, Harmonix has created Rock Band Track Packs that contain a selection of the downloadable content already offered.
Beatles Rock Band Track List
With Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players can export a majority of songs from the Rock Band soundtrack to their console's storage device by purchasing a 'transfer license'.[1][2] Additionally, certain songs rated as 'Family Friendly' by Harmonix are playable in Lego Rock Band. 'Enter Sandman', 'Moonson', 'Paranoid' and 'Run to the Hills' cannot be exported to any other game in the series. The original recording of 'Run to the Hills' was made available as a downloadable single and also in Iron Maiden Pack 01 on June 9, 2009.[3] While initially not exportable to Rock Band 3, 'Black Hole Sun' and 'Dani California' were made available via a patch released on November 8, 2011.[4] On the European version, 'Hier Kommt Alex' & 'Rock 'n' Roll Star' can be exported to Rock Band 2 but not Rock Band 3.[5] Exports of the Rock Band soundtrack (with the above exclusions) into Rock Band 4, for those that have already exported them into Rock Band 2 or 3, was enabled in January 2016.[6]
Main setlist
Players can play Rock Band alone through a Career mode for lead guitar, drums, and vocals, earning in-game money for their character to purchase new outfits and instruments. Each of the 45 songs[7][8] has a different difficulty ranking for each instrument part, as well as a total band difficulty. There are a total of nine difficulties, or tiers. In career mode each song in a tier must be successfully completed to move onto the next and unlock the songs in that tier. This tier system is also used for rating the difficulty of the song (the 'Band' tier) and its separate instrumental parts for downloadable content even though the songs are not used to unlock new songs in career mode. Once songs are unlocked, they may be played in any mode, including Quickplay, and multiplayer (competitive and co-operative modes) off- or online. Each instrument part in each song can be played at one of four difficulty levels, which include Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert.
Song titles listed in bold utilize master recordings.
